Real prayer, real worship, real time. (Luke 22:39-46; Job 1:13-20; Exodus 24:12-18)

Real prayer, real worship, real time. (Luke 22:39-46; Job 1:13-20; Exodus 24:12-18)

Real prayer is like wrestling. You have to sweat it out. In Luke 22:44, the sweat from Jesus’ brow was like the drop of blood.
Luke 22:44
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
The more issues become tough, tight and difficult, the more you have to pray. This is more easily said than done. When you pray through you will definitely breakthrough. Since there is a God in heaven that answers prayers, we are encouraged to keep on praying.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Paul even advised all kinds of prayers: petitions, intercessions, adoration, praying in the spirit as well as praying in understanding. All kinds of prayers.
Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Real worship on the other hand is irrespective of what is going on around us. Our conviction of God’s absolute righteousness is unshakable by the temporal fluctuations. Real worship is demonstrating intimacy with God our father and connecting him through our spirit in the name of Jesus.
Job 1:20
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
At a point when you breakthrough to the realm of the spirit through real prayer or real worship, time becomes inessential. All you feel is the awesome presence of God, you see the effervescence of his glory, you perceive the aroma of Christ and taste the sweetness of Jesus. May the Lord lead us to have real time in his presence. When Moses entered into God’s presence on the mount Horeb, he just got lost. Forty days and forty nights were like five minutes tea-break. When he came out nobody could look at his face. It was too radiant with God’s glory. The elders had to cover his face with a veil because his people couldn’t look at him. You need to spend more time, real time in God’s presence through real prayer and real worship.
Exodus 24:17
And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
Exodus 34:28
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. 29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. 31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them. 32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai. 33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
Nevertheless, real prayer and real worship are only possible when we are born again. When we invite Jesus into our heart and accept that he should direct the affairs of our lives.
Romans 10:8
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
This is when we agree with God that our sins are bad and we turn away from them through God’s help. This is when we make up our mind to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Then we become the children of God through Jesus Christ and then our spirit could meaningfully call Abba Father. The good thing is you can do it now.

A palace for you in the galaxies (John 14:1-28)

A palace for you in the galaxies (John 14:1-28)
Luke 21:25
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you. Think as humans if God, Satan, human beings, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Israel, USA, UK, any of the dangerously power drunk world super powers triggers the unthinkable now and tumbles the world into destruction, where will you be? Ok that is too big, too much even though very close, if you die now say you grow old and die or whatever what hope do you have beyond the stinking, slippery dark grave? Any hope?
Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Ok Jesus said I am going to prepare a place for you. I like this because it is reliable. It is reliable because other things he said are happening as exactly as he said they would be.
2Corinthians 1:18
But as
God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
He said there would be unending wars, it is so. He predicted several end time signs, we are seeing them.
Matthew 24:4
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
He said he would die and rise again, the world had just finished celebrating the remembrance of that in Easter. Now he said I would go and prepare a place for you.
Mark 10:32
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, 33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: 34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Let us think as normal humans. God may just not need to create another earth if he so wishes. All he had to do is renovate one of the galaxies/planets and make it inhabitable. Just think as an ordinary person, he can give your resurrected body the substances needed to be able to survive in the mass, Pluto or any of the galaxies.
1Corinthians 15:37
And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
There are all indications that this present world was not inhabitable shortly after it was created until God put other things in place. The world is even very old now and seriously overused and probably could wear out any time. You wouldn’t like to wear out with the old world. Would you?
1John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Don’t go out before you make adequate preparations for the great beyond.
For all manner and purposes, death remains an unbeatable checkpoint and a great enigma to all human wits. It has beaten all philosophers hollow, baffled all scientists and rendered all inventions insufficient.
Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 1Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
The only power and person that has offered a better hope beyond the demise is Jesus Christ and his message. Yield to Christ and you will have a mansion in wherever he choses to prepare for his own. God bless you.

Jesus is the Christ (John 20:19-31)

Jesus is the Christ (John 20:19-31)
The world has just celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ. By this we are witnesses of one of the unusual things in the life of the Christ. This is a great pointer to the fact that he was anointed to take away your sins. The Greek word ‘Christos’ means anointed. Jesus is the anointed one. He was anointed to die sacrificially and take away the sins of the world, he was anointed to rise from the dead and show example of the resurrection of everyone that believes in him. He fulfilled all these. We are all witnesses, irrespective of our faith or lack of it.
Romans 1:3
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be
the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: 5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: 6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
Are you still in doubt that Jesus is the Christ? Would you like to find out more about him?
There are abundant proofs in the scriptures, in nature, in the universe, in you and even in ‘evil’ that Jesus is the Christ.
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Every time the lordship of Christ and his anointing is mentioned, there is a quiet response in you to validate the scriptures. Your acceptance or rejection that follows after are just the consequences of your make up. It does not change the fact.
Philippians 2:5
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The wisest thing to do in such a awesome experience is to cooperate with God and his Holy Spirit. Anyone who finds it difficult to do this might be seen as worse that the demons.
Luke 4:33
And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, 34 Saying, Let us
alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
For a willing mind, the scriptures is full of the evidence of Jesus the Christ of God. For example scriptures record several divine names given to Jesus to prove that he is the Christ of God. A few examples include Matthew 16:16-17; Acts 3:14; and Acts 10:36. Both secular history and the bible testify to his sinless life on earth. He received divine worship which angels dare not accept. John 5:23; Matthew 14:33. He had divine offices as the creator and sustainer of the universe, John 1:3; Colossians 1:17; and John 5:28-29 to mention just a few.
Hebrews 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Nature respect his voice and demons bowed to him. Even today at the mention of Jesus’ name miracles, signs and wonders take place. All you need to do is yield to him in an unquestioning faith as Thomas did and all these will manifest in your life as well. Jesus is the Christ of God.
